Carel Visser and Mimmo Paladino at Museum Voorlinden

This work by Italian artist Mimmo Paladino is as hard to describe and versatile as his career. He is both a painter, sculptor printmaker, art teacher and video artist. As does his work in general, this work mixes elements of art history, classical mythology, Christianity and anthropology with no clear and present meaning.

The work is reflected in an aluminium work by Dutch artist Carel Visser across the room. These polished aluminium reliefs form geometric abstract sculptures acting like mirrors.
