New work by Erwin Olaf! The exhibition Dance in Close-Up at Galerie Ron Mandos (@galerieronmandos) celebrates a forty-year friendship between Hans van Manen and Erwin Olaf. Honoring Hans van Manen, who turns 90 years old this year, the project includes a series of photographs and videos in which Hans van Manen directs moments from thirteen different choreographies, captured in detail by Erwin Olaf himself.
The exhibition is beautifully designed and wouldn’t look out of place in a museum. Apart from the obvious fact that all works are for sale. I strongly recommend taking a look if you can!
The photographs are also all featured in the new photo-book with the same title, which will become available tomorrow.
