The installation is site specific and runs vertically through the entire height of the building, with rooms on each of the three floors to look down and/or up. This is possible through oval openings covered by thick glass on which the brave of heart can even walk.
Daylight comes in through the uppermost oval, changing the work along with the changing sky above Bremen.
The sky is one of Turrells most important materials. Along with light, space and time he creates unique works that let the user interact with these elements on a meditative level.
