The view on the artwork “M.T. with pistol” (2008) offers at least two interesting lines of sight in the Museum MORE (@museummore). The marble work by Thom Puckey (@thompuckey) is unsettling enough. At first it seems a ‘regular’ classical statue of a naked young woman. At second glance however, the subject appears to be holding a pistol at the ready to shoot herself in the calf.
Looking past it in one direction offers a view on a photograph by Erwin Olaf (@studioerwinolaf) three museum rooms further down. The photo is “Victoria” (2007) from the “Grief” series.
