Three works by French artist Yves Klein. From left to right: “Large Monopink”, “Simmering” and “Untitled, Blue Monochrome”. The last one is painted in Klein’s signature colour blue, which became known as “IKB” (“International Klein Blue”).
The three works are combined into a triptych, referencing the religious concept of the Trinity: Gold for God, the Father; Red for the flesh and blood of Christ and Blue for the immaterial, the Holy Spirit.
